While most knowledge workers—people who work on a computer for a living—are still working from their home offices as the pandemic continues to impact day-to-day business, many companies are thinking towards a future state of returning to the office.
For example, Atlassian is adopting a “team anywhere” model where employees can choose to either work remotely or from an office, either full- or part-time.
This new reality opens up a lot of questions: How do you make the transition? What if some people don’t want to return to the office? What will the impact be on productivity?
All of these different combinations comprise the new hybrid work model: Companies have a distributed workforce that flows between home offices and corporate locales. What sustains this is a corporate culture and work environment where collaboration can thrive from anywhere.
The Future Of Business = Work From Anywhere
The Financial Times recently called hybrid work the “new norm” as businesses adapt to a new reality where employees have the ability to work from anywhere. And according to this Business Insider article, many organizations and leaders are exploring their options and the tools that can help curb information overload in this new hybrid working reality.

- How to facilitate a successful transition
- How to set guidelines that foster strong digital office culture
